Cheap protection. best in RV Parts & Accessories

Magnesium protector for aluminum water heater. Mine lasts 9 months all the time. I know it's time for a replacement is when the temperature goes down 7/8" socket, 6" extension and 24" breaker bar make replacement easier. Be sure to flush the magnesium hydroxide/carbonate gel from the heater. There is a lot of it in the heater, it takes up space and reduces performance. It breaks down more easily than limescale deposits, which it prevents. Another prevention. Worth every penny.

Pros
  • 3/4" NPT thread fits Suburban/Mor-Flo water heater
Cons
  • Compatibility

I recommend one of the two

I recommend one of the two. buy one of these at least every six months to prevent clogs in your water lines, or buy a plug to plug a drain on your water heater. Be careful, if you only get one plug you can ruin your hot water tank with constant bad water. This wand works diligently to protect your hot water tank, but you should check it at least every three months to make sure it's not broken in your system. I like them and will continue to use bars instead of forks.

Pros
  • Provides protection against corrosion
Cons
  • Negative impression

Excellent anode suitable for RV parts and accessories

I had no idea trailer heaters required regular replacement of these aluminum anodes until a friend told me about it. My caravan is already five years old and the native anode was still in the heater. When I took out the old anode to put this new one in, I almost couldn't get it out. It partially disintegrated during operation. The only problem with these anodes is the complexity of the installation. The round tip that returns to the heater is long enough and heavy enough that it takes a bit of…

Pros
  • Aluminum Anode Bar
Cons
  • Repair
