Where are the sandals made from old car tires? I was looking for waterproof hiking sandals and only found these but they are too heavy. I say this at 68 years old, I had a lot of sandals and in 2021, despite international online shopping, we do not have a good selection of sandals. I needed a 'summer' shoe that would take some pressure off the ball of my foot. I gave them a chance and boy am I glad I did. The sole is very comfortable and actually gave me more comfort than what the pediatrician was able to provide. They seem to be very durable.

Update, got a new pair, size 12 fits my foot length perfectly, but the straps are a little loose from the top of the foot in the narrowest position. Wore them 2 days to break them.
