🚰 Enhanced CamelBak Eddy+ Bite Valve and Straw Review

Who knew I had to read bite valve reviews carefully! They are smaller than Eddy's bite valves, although they are said to fit Eddy. Apparently there is an Eddy+ with a very thin plus that makes a size difference. Normal Eddie is big, but Plus is small. Transparent like dirt?

I almost didn't buy these based on the previous poor review. However, thanks to the answer to my question, I placed the order as I believe the bad reviews are due to people wanting bite valves for an old Eddie bottle. These bite numbers are for the new Eddy+ bottles which they fit perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

I have a 750ml Eddy that I use every day so the mouthpiece is disgusting. Since my bite valve is beyond repair, I ordered this product. The bite valve I received definitely didn't fit my Eddy and honestly didn't look like a mouthpiece I've ever seen for Camelbak. The straw was also too high.

No substitute shown. The mouthpiece slides easily and the straw falls into the bottle. Is it really from CamelBak? I have been using this bottle every day for over two years now and have replaced the mouthpiece and straw several times with no problems. That's the worst. Don't waste money.

They go perfectly with my 2 bottles of Eddy+ I bought from Target. I have a 25 ounce bottle and a 32 ounce bottle. The description says you will receive 1 bite valve and 1 straw but as the picture shows you will receive 2 of each in each pack. I happen to think that I actually received 6 packages of spare parts, so 12 straws and 12 mouthpieces. I only needed 1 mouthpiece (because my kid lost one) but now I have loads of extras.

I have a Camel Whirlwind that I bought a while back when my husband was in the US Navy. It's a logo bottle and I wanted to keep using it. The piece was lost when moving and I bought these as a replacement. They don't quite fit. They fit over the top of the nozzle but don't really cover it like the old one. If you try to open the mouthpiece with your finger latch, it looks like it's being pulled out. Not happy with that.

Two Eddy+ bottles have been purchased from this site in the last 6 months and we have had to replace the valves as one of our family members lost them. The valves work well, but the straws in this pack are too long for Eddy+ bottles; They fit the underside of the lid, but you can't unscrew the lid with these straws - they're about a half inch longer, and I don't have a way to trim the straws. The description of this item is not correct. There are newer Camelbak Eddy bottles like the 750ml vacuum bottle that do NOT have this bite valve but are also called Eddy. If you look at the description of these bottles it says there is a 'new larger bite valve' to increase water flow and this 2 pack is not big it is too small for these bottles.
