Works as you think, very easy to use. Took this camel to two festivals and was able to dance and have fun with no problems. A downside to this product would be nothing! The camel cow works great!

Use it when I do my gardening, wish there was an extra layer on the straps because it's rough on the skin working outside in a tank top in the summer and that there was hose hook

value for money, does what it should and more. Not bulky on the back for a 2 liter capacity. The screw cap allows for quick filling and adding a few ice cubes when needed. :) On hot days you'll appreciate the insulated hydration tube that really makes the difference.

I received a new one that didn't have extra storage but the only improvement I would like is a small pocket for ID and keys, other than that this pack is perfect . This thing works in cold weather. Detachable mouthpiece and shut-off valve, insulation, material. everything is OK. Thank you camelback

This is a good product and it works well. However, the filling hole is a bit smaller than we would like. I bought this and Camelbak 100oz at the same time. One for me, one for my husband. 100 oz has a larger opening for filling the bladder. A larger opening is better as it makes it easier to fill with ice as well as less spillage when adding water or other liquids. Overall Camelbaks are great products.

Bought for a trip to Utah in the summer, enough water for half a day. I'm 6,200 pounds. fits me pretty tight but the way I like it. I will attach a small camera bag to it. Light weight was important to me, I think it would be perfect. I haven't used this but I have used other camelbak products, I had a waist unit that bothered me, I moved a lot, I think it would be perfect.

This is a very basic stripped down Camelbak that only holds a water bladder. It's very light, so light that the shoulder straps might not be very comfortable if worn with a t-shirt all day. I bought it to easily carry water on my motorbike and it's great; It's adjustable enough to fit over my armored jacket, stays secure, and the adjustable straps have locks so they don't dangle.
