Hose connection defective

The hose connection to the bladder was not working properly and had to be constantly disconnected/reconnected to drain water. Luckily we were on a bit of a trek when we first used it.

I wouldn't recommend the 'women' set

I love camelbak buddies but these straps oddly fit larger bustier women. One just above and one just below the bust line. Looks bad. You should only have purchased the standard version of the pack, not the "female fit".

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Obsolete

Great for cycling! Outdoor recreation

Well, I bought it for both jogging and cycling. I ran with him several times, empty, and he was comfortable. You still have to run a distance with a full. However, I used it on a nearly 70 mile (100+ km) bike ride and it was fantastic!

Perfect hydration pack

I have reviewed MANY hydration packs that can be used for 1-3 hour bike rides and hikes. Priority was given to a smaller tank (70 ounces) and matching pockets for cell phone (iPhone XR), keys and sunglasses. It has ALL of these. (So many bike hydration packs don't). Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

In love with this backpack

I wanted the backpack to hold up to 2 liters of water and comfortably fit a light jacket, my phone, keys and a snack/lunch, but I wanted it to be small enough , to be just that, go for short (2-3 hour) hikes. This backpack meets my criteria perfectly. It's incredibly light and very comfortable - stretches everywhere and has REALLY handy pockets. I easily fit my iPhone XR in my vest pocket. MARVELOUS. Thank you Camelback!

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I really like my new ultra backpack

Disclaimer: I'm not an ultra runner but I ran longer distances in preparation for my first run so I have it as First bought the time of wearing the hydration vest. I have an old camelback backpack that I've been using for about 20 years and I sewed it through where the straps parted because I really liked that backpack. As I prepared for my first multi-stage 120-mile race, I knew the old package just wasn't going to fit. I have borrowed 3-4 vests from friends to try on and tried on about a…
