Charred pizza with a crispy crust in no time

Recently brought this to the Penn State Blue and White game. An AMAZING product that gave great, consistent results and literally drew crowds to stop by to try it. This is an accessory for the 14" Camp Chef that is really very versatile. We've prepared pizza, crunchy snacks, reheated rolls and much more in minutes. Excellent build quality, as with all CC products. It is both flat and also ready for game day.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • There are downsides

WE LOVE IT! suitable for camping and hiking

This is one of our best buys! We really like this pizza oven. We don't just make pizza here! We made such a versatile dish: cookies, cornbread, brownies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, potatoes, quesadillas, hash brown pizza, and baked potato. We've learned to place a small baking sheet upside down between the stone and the pan when cooking food that doesn't require direct contact with the stone - to prevent overcooking/burning the base.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • unreliable

It turns out really tasty pizza!

First of all, the customer service was excellent! I received my oven and the stone cracked although it was well packed in a box inside another box. I notified the seller who immediately emailed me an apology and a tracking number for a replacement stone. It arrived within a week. I liked trying it! This is the very first pizza! Not exactly pretty, but delicious! I followed the simple instructions and it worked like a charm! I look forward to riding and camping in my backyard! This is a funโ€ฆ

Great oven! in camping and hiking

I received this stove very quickly even though it was supposed to be delivered a week later. We used this oven the day we got it and the pizza was amazing. We have a separate Camp Chef pizza oven, so we have experience with pizza ovens from this brand. Using this model on our Camp Chef three burner oven has proven to be great for camping pizza! Even in strong winds, the pizza could still be cooked through from time to time. One of the great advantages of this oven over a separate pizza oven isโ€ฆ

Mama me! on camp stoves

Will never buy delivery pizza again! With my slightly above average burners, it only takes about 15 minutes to reach 600 degrees Fahrenheit. I bought an infrared laser thermometer to take the surface temperature of a rock for $18. I love thin crust New York pizza, it only takes about 6-7 minutes to finish baking a pepperoni and raw Italian sausage pizza. The sausage is fully cooked. Some people worry that the oven doesn't have a front door, and after baking four pizzas I've had no problems. The

Nice little pizza oven at a very good price

This item was purchased for use on our Camp Chef Pan/Grill. This is not intended for the Camp Chef grill we have but I thought it would work and it did. Simply remove the pan and place the pizza oven on the cooking grate. A fire was lit and heated the stone. I wasn't sure if it would heat up properly as it wasn't on the camp stove it was designed for. But after 15 minutes on high heat, the thermometer read 600 degrees and my heat gun read 500+ on the pizza stone. Now if I could just type in myโ€ฆ

Heavy, works well for camping and hiking

This is a fairly bulky and heavy addition to the Camp Chef range. Before using it, I added metal drawer handles on either side of the pizza oven for easy lifting and removal from the burners and storage. I've made about 10 pizzas and am still learning how to make pizza on it, so there was a lot of burnt crust on the stone that I had to scrape off. I'll probably make a different arrangement that allows the stone to be removed more easily than the four small screws and two clamps that hold it inโ€ฆ

Great pizza oven for the camping kitchen

Received quickly and in good condition. I originally had the idea of buying it from another tourist at the Gorge Concert Hall in Washington DC. So, let's go home, research and buy from Revain. This pizza oven works great with our existing CampChef oven. I consider myself fairly advanced at pizza making (making dough, sauce, etc. for homemade pizza) and I also have a Blackstone pizza oven for making pizza. It was low in temperature but the problem was with our regulator on our stove, not theโ€ฆ

Great Oven But Limitations

This review is for the Camp Chef Artisan 14-Inch PZ60 Pizza Oven. The process I use. This stove heats up great, has a decent even heat and pumps heat out through your mouth. You could do a lot worse. However, my Camp Chef Yukon camping stove should seriously have an igniter instead of using a lighter. I've been using these types of pizza ovens for about a year and have baked over 240 pizzas, typically 8 12" pizzas in one go. Pizza. The PZ60 lacks that. Therefore, when baking two 12-inch topโ€ฆ
