Description of Camp USA Nylon Tricam Navy

Two placement modes: active cam and passive chock. Works where nothing else can fit, such as solution pockets. Excellent in horizontal cracks. Stiffer sewing on the slings of sizes 0.125 - 2.0 for easier one-handed placement and extraction.

Useless and Overpriced Climbing Gear

This product was a total waste of money .It slipped out of place multiple times during my climb, which was not only frustrating but also dangerous. The nylon material feels cheap and flimsy and I wouldnt trust it in a serious outdoor setting. The only positive THING about this gear is that it comes in a nice navy color. Overall, I do not recommend this product for any serious sports and outdoors enthusiast..

Pros
  • Durable and strong nylon material for reliable placement and protection during climbing
Cons
  • Requires some practice and skill to properly place and set in cracks and pockets

Ideal for climbing with AIDs

Carrying a tricam rack doesn't require much extra weight and they're perfect for some nail scars. Make sure your companion has a nut tightening tool and wants to learn how to properly remove tricams in different positions!

Pros
  • Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • Functionality
