Budget sunglass option in this style

I just received these so can't speak to their durability but I don't have high hopes that they will last very long. However, it's a great price and a great way to see if you like this style of sunglass instead of spending $100 and then being dissatisfied. I'm giving them four stars because they're a great version of cheap sunglasses.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Negative gift

Almost beer plane in the fan shop

Unfortunately, the glasses do not correspond exactly to the AO/Randolf design to which they are said to refer, and are not matt chrome-plated as advertised. They're slightly larger and a different shape than the original, have a decent feel but rattle a bit, largely due to the fronts being articulated rather than sprung. At less than $20, they're acceptable value and won't make you look ridiculous, but those looking for a replica of the original aviators should look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Working speed

You get what you paid for

I shouldn't expect too much from a $20 pair of sunglasses and that's exactly what I got. Thin plastic lenses and very light metal frames. As soon as I started wiping the lenses after removing the sticker, one of the lenses in the frame seemed to rattle a bit, so I don't expect them to last very long given regular use. The only other thing I can say is that this is a classic square pilot frame, but I will use them as spares.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quality

This finish isn't quite "matte ".

After sacrificing a pair of expensive sunglasses due to boating accidents, spontaneous loss of mobility and an unexpected bear attack, I needed a good pair of glasses that I'm happy to lose. These glasses do not disappoint for the price. . The only thing I have is that they are advertised as "matt" but they are not. If you had a matte AO, this is not the finish. On a positive note, the reflection from the (shiny) silver can temporarily blind the next bear trying to surprise me.

good value overall adequate second pair of sunglasses

these sunglasses fit well, looks good, large size on my face, dark polarized lenses which do a very good job of filtering out the harshness and glare of the daytime sun light, without distorting reality. Plus, they look pretty cool speeding down the freeway. The only minor downside is the plastic lenses as I'm used to Ray Bans G15 green glass lenses. but it is a high quality dark lens with no distortion. this is a decent quality that corresponds to the cheap price of a pair of sunglasses

  • this is amazing

So I like the less than $20 style rather than the higher price.

I bought these knowing the quality might be questionable based on other reviews but this is a new style to me so I prefer the sub $20 style to the higher price. The positives are the looks, the feel on the head (ie the bayonet temples are comfortable and stay in place) and the knowledge that my head needs 57mm sunglasses. it will show up. Also, I can see my eyes through the lenses, so don't stare at people anonymously with it.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I bought American optical glasses or Randolph Aviation glasses in clothing stores, exactly the same as when I was in flown to the army. with them they have become so expensive. They are manufactured exactly like those specified by the government, with straight temples designed to be worn with a flight helmet. I also think they are great for motorcycle helmets. In my opinion they are even better because they have spring hinges which is a plus over the government. Specialist. for a lot less…

Pros
  • Excellent construction

No matter how low your expectations are, lower them.

My expectations when I bought these Humvee sunglasses were low. All I was hoping for was cheap sunglasses that would get me through the peak season - with the full expectation that they would be easily damaged and thrown away by summer's end. What actually happened is that the lenses got scratched on day one. I owned them. I carried them to the beach while sitting in my chair reading a book, then tossed them back into the case that came with them, put the case in our beach bag and went for a…
