GREAT CANDLESTICK CONVERTERS BUT NEED THE FOLLOWING :)

C9 LIGHT IS PERFECTLY INSERTED INTO E17 SOCKET. The problem is that the smaller part of the E12 (MALE) is too short by about 1/8 inch to fully fit in the chandelier. Not as much. Instead of returning them I just took a soldering iron and soldered a small piece of 20 pieces. Measure the copper wire at each bottom (E12). Now they all work great. Hope this helps someone. :)

Beware. Homemade junk.

First of all it is very difficult to find an E12 to E17 adapter. Unfortunately I had two problems with them, one on each end of the adapter. The E17 base is short, so when the bulb is screwed in, part of the "living" base remains open. Another problem is that they are constructed by soldering an E17 plug to an E12 socket and wrapping it in heat shrink tubing, but the socket won't screw in deep enough unless some of the tubing is cut off. For a more secure commercial solution I used 2 adapters…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

The product allows using a lamp with an E12 socket for a lamp with an E17 socket. Unfortunately, the rubber coating on the outside of the adapter socket makes the adapter socket too wide to fit in a standard electric candle holder. I don't recommend you do this, but I solved this problem by removing the bottom 1/8 inch of the rubber cover from the outside of the adapter socket. This slight modification allowed the e12 socket on the adapter socket to make contact with the bottom of the spark…
