I bought 2 canisters to store the large contents of a bag of basmati rice and flour that I use often. And they've made a lovely addition to my pantry. Suction cups in the lid allow air to escape quickly for long-term storage. Fillable labels included helped identify stored items.

I wanted to love them but decided to return them. It doesn't look like the seal will last long, I don't think it's really an airtight seal and the lids are very thin metal and we're already dented a bit. If they were cheaper I might have kept them, but for less than half the price I was able to find several smaller jars that appear to have better seals and lids.

I like these jars because the lid is sealed and you can see very well when to refill. They are heavy and well made. Includes chalk and labels to indicate what is being saved. You can keep them behind a closet door or on a counter if you use them daily. This is a great way to keep organized. These glass jars are made of thick and durable glass. I love the style and it reminds me of an old fashioned candy store. I needed jars with airtight lids so the herbal blends would retain their current moisture. These jars have a nice flexible rubber seal around the rim of the jar and a metal lid that slides over it.
