We are very happy with our new Canon DC310 DVD camcorder. We've been using it for over 2 weeks now, filming our granddaughter's ballet recital in a dark room and we were 9 rows behind and the picture was bright as day and the sound was very good. We took our camcorder on vacation and filmed some short family and friends trips. He showed himself perfectly in all lighting conditions and circumstances.

Pros:-1) Price is cheap for a DVD camcorder2) Outdoor video quality3) Optical zoom Cons:-1) Menu is very confusing.2) You can't finalize unless you connect the camera to the power adapter. You won't know unless you read the instructions carefully. 3) You cannot charge the camera when the power switch is on. So let's say you are using the camera and it turns off due to lack of power.
