Of course you get what you pay for

Expensive because this is not a toy, not a family camera, but a professional quality camera for people who actually use the camera to take pictures and not take pictures. If photography is your business, you need the features and reliability this camera offers.

Genuine Canon

This is a monster camera, the 1DxMII is fantastic but this is advanced in many ways and a leap forward in others. IMHO the less powerful AA filter is great. It seems to me that it produces sharper images than the MKII, not that the camera in the hat is bad, this one is better IMHO. The autofocus seems better and if possible a bit faster as the MKII is very fast and accurate. The battery life also seems to be better.

Everything you've heard is true

I've had mine for about two weeks now, I've switched from the 1Dx Mk II, 5D Mk IV and 7D Mk II. Nothing about it disappointed me. The autofocus is really amazing - I tracked a flying seagull with 138 frames in focus. It didn't fill the buffer, although shutter clicks slowed down from the original 16 fps; no idea how slow they are but I still think over 10fps. The noise at 12,800 is impressively low, and while I don't see myself ever using a shot at 51,200, it's not bad. Photo Osprey 12800…
