Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS Digital Camera (Silver) Review

Great value compact camera replacing a dropped and non-functional Canon PowerShot ELPH SD-850 IS. This camera is smaller and "feels" cheap. I personally like the mechanical selector switch and the heavier feel of the previous camera. The 150 IS is smaller, lighter and has a bigger screen. The camera functions are programmable but not intuitive, so using the manual for the initial camera setup is a good idea.

My wife wanted an easy-to-use camera to photograph dogs. I wanted her to have a good camera with enough features for her to be able to use it anytime, and with enough pixel count for me to crop and edit her photos. We both got what we wanted. This is a very good little compact camera. It is small enough to put in your pocket or purse. It captures crisp, colorful shots in a variety of situations. I am very impressed with this little camera.

This product is definitely fine. Images are low to medium grain for point and capture, easy to focus and very compact for the price. The problem I have with my camera is that the battery is no longer making contact with the battery compartment. I solved this problem by putting a small piece of paper between the battery and the battery compartment to press the battery against the contacts. this makes it difficult to close the door, but at least the camera turns on.
