Friendly customer service

Although there was a problem with the lens initially, the seller quickly resolved it and made sure I had what I needed. In excellent quality and ideal for my first photography course.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Negative gift

Do not buy. Rewind button sticks after a roll

Do not buy. After the first roll, the rewind pin got stuck and the camera became unusable. I was in Japan at the time and luckily I was able to buy a Canon AE-1 that can work in both manual and point-and-shoot modes for about the same price. Also, the original kit didn't include a lens protector, something pretty simple and cheap that should definitely be in a beginner's kit.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Volume

Good basic film camera

These cameras are way better than the reviews I often see about them. These are basic, manual film cameras that are great for photography classes or just for capturing great photos on film. I still have several film cameras and take more photos than digital cameras. It's harder to develop film these days, but you can find professional developers who charge low prices per roll of film, and you always have negatives to use if you need more prints.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
