I am not disappointed, the quality is satisfying.

After almost a year of use, I can say: those who give bad marks to this device here either do not know the basic concepts of photography, or they were unlucky with a particular instance, or they shot all their lives on L-ki, and now they picked up a whale and shout " horror!". At first, I was also a little disappointed - now I understand that I simply did not know how to shoot at the time of buying the first 1000D DSLR. Want "ringing sharpness" when shooting landscapes? Set the aperture to…

Pros
  • - Price - Image quality with arms growing from the right place
Cons
  • The disadvantages are very conditional, because. at this price it is difficult to make a technological masterpiece. - Dark - Manual focus ring is uncomfortable

A good product, more pros than cons.

On the one hand, with this lens you can get quite good and beautiful photos. But they will be "good and beautiful" until you try other, more expensive lenses. :) Does this mean that this lens does not deserve your attention? Not at all! Such a lens can be recommended to people who generally doubt that they will have a second lens. Or, for example, those who plan to shoot in conditions where it would be a pity to spoil a more expensive lens. And just as a first lens, to all those who buy their…

Pros
  • Optical stabilizer, weight
Cons
  • Fuzzy ("soapy") picture

Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

The lens corresponds to the price. I think that this should be the first for every beginner, it makes it clear what's what, to feel the difference with more expensive lenses in the future. Macro is fine to shoot, landscapes. I don't recommend it for portraits. Well, this is all conditional, because after two weeks of using such a whale, there will be a desire to take something higher. For example, I took Canon EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM and Canon EF 50 f/1.8 II.

Pros
  • Stabilizer, weight, very low price, so it's not a pity to use it in sand and dust.
Cons
  • No picture (soapy). I keep it only for shooting landscapes, everything is very acceptable with a polarizer. The lens rotates, twists the filter, it gets it.

I'm satisfied, the product is exactly as described.

I use with Canon EOS 550D. Came with a camera (I took a whale one) To begin with, the pictures seemed sharp, before viewing on a large monitor screen. I thought it was about me, but after reading more about this lens, I came to the conclusion: not the most successful whale lens. I looked at private shots from the 550D on well-known photo hosting sites . This camera is capable of more, and with such a lens it is at the level of my old Olympus SP550-UZ. In a word, I was disappointed in him. I'm…

Pros
  • Price Quality for its level and price
Cons
  • Noisy auto focus Soaps at extreme focal lengths Barrel effect at 18mm Chromatic aberration (noticeable in 50% of shots, mostly landscape)
