I originally recommended this product because my normally frizzy, dry and fairly unruly hair feels decent and hydrated *LOOK*. But to be perfectly honest within a few hours of using this product my hair becomes very dry and this product builds up quickly leaving my hair weighed down and "dirty". I love the smell of this hair mask and all the Cantu products I've tried. It's very fresh - appears to be mango and coconut. The smell is my favorite part. I think it helps moisturize my hair but this product is non-slip. I usually mix it with one of my conditioners, which is more slippery, otherwise I can't run my fingers through my hair with a mask at all. This product is excellent for dry and damaged hair. The deep conditioner I was using was discontinued and I had to find a replacement. I tried Cantu Deep Conditioner and it really moisturized my hair. I use it every two weeks and leave it on my hair for an hour. This is definitely a great product.

Doesn't moisturize at all, doesn't offer enough glide. While the ingredients on the list are decent, this doesn't seem like a good natural-based product. The smell is also very much like faux coconut, not in a good way (perfumed and too harsh).

It's great when I use Cantu Clarifying Shampoo or Creme of Nature Co-Wash. Leave on for 3-24 hours, rinse (hair is sooooo soft) and use my LOC method. I recommend Camtu Mask over Cantu Leave-In Conditioner.
