The belt itself and the colors and durability are excellent. But I hate the locking mechanism. I'm used to flat spindle/friction clip military belts which are easy and very quick to use. This product has a hinged lid with prongs on one side for belt grabbing. Works well after cutting. But using it is inconvenient and dangerous. I don't like construction belts. The flip-top lid means it's fully customizable and easy to open. Yes, sometimes an object will catch on the flip cover and unlock it, but not often. The belt material starts to wear out after a few years, but by then the belt is so dirty that it can be thrown away. Note that a 1 1/2 inch belt may be large for some belt loops, so you may need a 1 1/4 inch belt instead. But for ordinary work trousers, they are best suited.

I really like this belt. I can adjust it for a comfortable fit that allows me to get on with my day without worrying about my pants becoming loose throughout the day. I will buy another one soon. That should be enough for me for the rest of my life. I didn't rate it for durability because I just got it but I think it will last a long time. This is a well made product where little can go wrong.
