This bag has proven to be very suitable for my needs. I wanted a bag with a work station. Sometimes I need to carry documents, folders, books, etc. and this bag did its job well.

This bag is a good concept but it's pretty stiff, lint and hair will cling to it so if you have pets you'll be tearing your hair off it. I don't need anything else to give my hair a thorough brushing before I go to work, so I'm returning it. Black canvas can also pass as dark charcoal.

The interior isn't black (because I keep "losing" things like a phone in a black case). This had the advantage of not being leather (which automatically adds to the weight). For health reasons, I carry many medical items. I also travel for medical purposes so this bag is perfect for everything I need to carry with me at all times. As silly as it sounds, it was nice that the bag didn't have an odor that I had to get rid of before using it. The stitching seems to be of good quality and will last a while. This is my new work bag. It contains my stethoscope, books, notebook, lunch. Good bag. Lots of compliments. I like that it closes with a zipper. There is a trinket on the bag to put on a plastic trinket to pull out the case. Unfortunately it looks like a pocket on the other side and I almost lost my phone once when it slipped through.

Bought as a work bag. Durable canvas, wipe clean in most cases. That's a great bag. It has a fun striped lining that makes it lighter on the inside so it's not a black hole.
