My husband loves these belts

He has been using these belts for as long as I can remember. He says they are comfortable and being fully adjustable is the best! He uses them to hang his Leatherman and tape measure while he works. Like I said, it goes away every few years or so. His working tools tend to wear down the material. But for the price you can't go wrong. If he'd only used it as a belt, it probably would have lasted much, much longer.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • For old

Get What You Buy - Men's

I should have known the price of belts and one word - CHEAP! The metal is weak and bent, the material is not of the quality I expected. Even after that I will keep them because I am losing weight so they will work for a while until I have such a nice pair of belts. Worst case I got a blue and brown pair.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Requires Outlet

Mixed feelings: Good for belts

Received after two Columbia Canvas Web belts accidentally snapped their buckles. Pros: It holds up despite not being at the same 1 year point of failure as the Columbia I belt. Cons: Narrower and softer. While they do what they're supposed to do, they don't have the stiffness or width that I liked on the Columbia belt. Bottom line: They work, but I think I can just leave it as a backup belt and go back to Colombia. or another brand for a better belt and accept that they may not work.

Too narrow - is it a belt for a boy?

The belt is noticeably narrow and looks odd on a grown male. Especially with jeans. One of the side effects of a buckle that's too narrow is that it doesn't hold up well. Look for a canvas military style belt from Columbia. It's actually too wide, making it difficult to thread through belt loops, but it's a much better alternative to this belt.

Pros
  • One Year Probe
Cons
  • Zero

First time wearing a buckle and I love how it looks and feels. When I tried to remove the strap later that day, the clasp would not open. The sliding mechanism for releasing the buckle was completely blocked, it did not move. Just in case I don't get it right (although I've been using this type of strap for years) I asked my wife to see if she could undo the slider. She could not. By the way, when I measured the belt size the day before, the sliding mechanism worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Quality

I was disappointed in the quality, although not surprised given the .

They work pretty well for the price. I was disappointed in the quality, although I wasn't surprised by the low price. I would have gladly paid more for better but couldn't find anything that compares. I have one of those 35 year old belts. The fabric is thicker and stronger. The buckle is a heavier metal and still works great, never sticks. These new ones I just bought are often difficult to open because they are stuck and have to be force open. I'm still looking for the best military sliding…

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • too blunt
