My daughter LOVES these shoes. She used to wear Payless ABT shoes, which simply tie at the foot. She was a size 12 which she complained about because it was too small. When choosing a new pair, she wanted to try lace-up shoes. I just ordered the next full size which was a 13. Luckily they are a bit too big so she has room to grow into them. The quality also seems very good.

I'm sure they'll be fine once we find the right size, but the size chart provided here is definitely not for girls. My daughter wears size 12 in street shoes all the time and this chart showed size 11. I have 11th and 11.5. ordered and even the larger shoes have become too small. Now I'm ordering 12 and 12.5, let's see how it goes.

We ate returning the item as it is too small and even the width does not fit my little 2 year old grandson. The shoes are super cute. I was so disappointed. I hope for a larger size.

These shoes were a size 9, I thought they were a typical size 9. However, they were very tight and rigid. My son hates her. I would not recommend it. If I could I would send them back :(

I have now ordered my third pair and am trying to find the right size. The given size chart does not fit. I've attached an image that might be more helpful. Many reviews say they run small. I would say that there is no need to order more than 1/2 size. Otherwise a very good shoe.

If your child's feet are of normal width, these shoes will be too narrow. They have "w" width available and I highly recommend buying them.

What do you expect from the name - great dancewear and that's what you get. My daughter is very picky about shoes. This is where other tap shoes wear too tight when healing. They have a little notch so they press on her Achilles tendon, which is perfect. Cheaper online than in their dance studio.

Capezio suggests you buy street size. My son is an 8w size so I chose 8.5w just in case. He couldn't even put his foot in the shoe. It didn't look wide at all. In fact, they looked very thin. Maybe the 9W would fit but we ended up buying the 9.5W from a local dance shop, they are long but wide and will last a long time.

I ordered the same size my daughter wears in all other shoes she has including slippers from the same brand but in a different style and this shoe was TOO SMALL. She couldn't even get her foot in. Crazy how tiny they are. I ordered a different size, I will update.

After 3 months of wearing only 1-2 times a week, the rear heel brace collapsed over the heel. Almost like the heel is out of place, too far forward? I wish I could trust the product and the reviews. I upsized and didn't have to and now they're sold out in the wrong size for me. Just take your children's normal shoe size. Not Nike shoe size because they are small but all other shoe sizes. My son has a 1 in Nike but a 13 in everything else. I have 1 in these and they are 1 inch larger.

The shoes arrived in a tattered shoebox with the corners torn off and the strap torn. Ahhh... there were two leftover shoes in the box. You can't invent it. Well it's a joke. The only saving grace was having a left shoe that was the right size.

What was sent to me were NOT Capezio dance shoes. No size or brand name listed. The faucets in the show look very bad and cheap. I am beyond annoyed. I know dance equipment and shoes. and they sent me very cheap fakes. And for the price, I'm outraged. They are also at least half a size smaller.
