I bought this pair of tap shoes less than a month ago. My daughter only wore it six times to dance class and the front tongue of her left shoe fell off during class. ATTENTION that the front taps are riveted and not screwed like the rear taps.

The quality of the show is fantastic. I have read so many reviews saying to order large as the shoes run small, but I felt this was not true. I ordered and had to return as the shoes were huge. Overall very impressed with the quality! Great looking shoes.

Based on the reviews, I ordered the shoes a half size larger than my son's shoes. They fit great and he was able to wear them to tap dancing this week.

My son wears a size 11 shoe and I bought these slippers in a size 12 and they fit almost perfectly. They're a bit narrow, but his legs are narrow, so it worked. He loves them and I'm sure they will last until he outgrows them.

We received them tonight, my son wore them for 10 minutes and there was a huge scratch on the front. Please note that these are children's tap shoes and I think they will be more durable. upset

My son wears a size 8.5 for toddlers. I ordered a size 10 and it fits just right with no room to grow. I have to order new shoes within a month as his feet are growing.

Perfect shoes for beginners! They fit my son perfectly. I enlarged it to give it room to grow. Great quality and they will last a long time.

These are wonderful slippers! Great for my son's first dance lesson. The only problem was with the size. We order outdoor shoes 1.5 sizes larger, but actually only need 1 size larger. Leave them anyway as they will last longer.

Very cute little dancing shoes. My child wears about a size 8 and this 9.5 fits just right. So I would say it's better to order at least one size up. They fit well, nicely packaged in the shoebox and make the perfect tap-tap sound.

I bought this for my kid. It's a size 1 and I bought a 13.5 because I read it was meant to be snug but not tight. My son's size 1 shoes have room for a thumb at the top. So I guessed 13.5 and was right!

I had to go back for a second size. They are narrow and small, especially in boys. I suggest increasing an integer size and preserving the width. Good shoes for beginners.

Bought these as a second pair of dance shoes for my 2 year old little girl. I'm not sure if this is more for boys or girls. When she tried them on, she liked them, she immediately started dancing, it was clear that they were comfortable. I've had her wear them outside a few times to scrape the bottom, but they've never been too slippery to begin with. I can only recommend it and will buy it again.

Very nice and without defects. My son has a normal foot size and the shoes hardly fit. He wears child size 8. Bought 8.5. They're a bit narrow, but I've never bought tap shoes. For comparison, I took a picture of Gymboree size 8 for toddlers.

Maybe 1/2 size bigger but not enough to return. I would order 1/2 size smaller for a PERFECT fit. For us being 1/2 taller means they survive the season and I will not be buying shoes during the show!

These shoes have a great fit. I was skeptical about buying them for my 7 year old daughter but very hopeful. These did not disappoint us. She wears size 13 street shoes, mine are 13.5W. The wide ones worked well, although she doesn't have wide feet, she just doesn't like tight shoes and enjoys room for her toes. At first she was reluctant to swap out her patent leather maryjane shoes for oxfords, thinking they would look boyish, but one day she fell in love with them!

great looking shoes for boys, looks good, will have to order again. Usually toddlers wear 7 (not wide), bought 8.5 wide to be safe and they are very tight! If it's wide I have no idea what the other size is, I think it's made for a person with a cane. Classes start tomorrow so he has to wear them this week, doesn't seem to care because of the clicking noise but he has to increase the width to 9.5. Order 2 sizes up and make sure you get a wide size!

I bought these for my 3 year old son for his dance class. We were new to this and couldn't find shoes for boys. However, no one can say that these shoes are "girly". I ordered them a size and a half larger than my normal shoe size and they have a little more room in his toes. The shoes are just narrow, especially if he has normal socks. (I'm still looking for thinner ones) Although they are really good quality and my boy loves them, I just wish he could make them a little easier to put on…
