CAR Charger 65W Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Review

I was skeptical about this car charger when I ordered it. However, it did its job well. Dell does NOT have a suitable car adapter for the smaller wattage, smaller diameter plug (on the side of your laptop) so I had to look elsewhere. It was worth it as this charger is a quarter of the price and does its job perfectly. The cigarette lighter adapter springs are a bit thick and stiff, so be careful when installing.

Perfect for my Dell Inspiron 15 5558 with i7-5500U and Intel HD Graphics. The product has an excellent build quality! I was shocked at how well it is put together. I would have preferred a green LED like the OEM one, but blue is a beautiful colour, just super bright! This charger draws a maximum of 11-15V, 6.8A, so use common sense and do not leave it running with the engine off. I use it with a 7Ah lead-acid battery to charge my laptop when I'm off the grid for a few days. This draws less amps

Initially impressed with everything in the transaction, I come back to praise the product itself. It just charged my Dell Inspiron to 15% in 10 minutes. Do I have to say more? OK, I will. Fits snugly in my laptop and in my car, no dangling parts, doesn't overheat (actually not at all), compact yet offers a decent cord length. I can't buy this from Dell, not at this price or any other price. It happened to me and I can compare the quality / price ratio. Conclusion: not comparable :)

This brilliant idea provides all the power my Dell Latitude E6410 will ever need when I'm on the go. PWR+ had the bright idea of not making a converter out of it. The reason it works so well without a noisy fan is because they don't convert to AC, so you can plug in a power cord. All computers run on direct current.
