This compression set requires high mechanical strength. After the engine was pulled out of the mower, all other necessary parts removed, the lower crankcase removed, cleaned, reassembled and put back into the mower, it started like a new engine. as supplied I can only judge the quality of the parts. I have not run the engine since the parts were installed. I bent the oil pump cover so I'm waiting for this part to get it working. The parts directly replaced the original parts. I decided to go ahead and use the new taps that come with the kit. I'd love to see someone come up with a permanent solution to relieving the Briggs cam pressure, but if not these parts should work just fine. The gasket was standard but appeared to be of good…
