Excellent set of rotating rasps.

I will carve a lot with this rasp set. For power carving with a flex shaft tool this is a great starter kit. You have all the basic cookie cutters to help you draw your designs. For small parts and rework, you need other types of cutters. These are your cutters for trimming and general shaping.

  • Sturdy design

Exceeded expectations. Holds well on black iron fittings.

I bought this to remove threads and "smooth out" the nozzle on my homemade propane forge torches. It worked great for this, taking no damage while maintaining its sharpness throughout. Unfortunately, modifying the burner nozzle has made the gas burn less cleanly, not more. Obviously not a fault of the instrument!

I love these Bits to Pieces

These carbide grinding bits eat up metal like you won't believe. They last a long time if treated properly. I use them in steel and bronze for stripping welds. Making the inside of a small hole is the only time I've messed up those details quickly. If you push hard and the bit jumps from one side of the hole to the other, the shank can bend. When this happens you will notice a bad vibration and your racket will end. time for a new one. My advice is to remove the metal as slowly and carefully as
