Worked great on a 1971 CT-90

Worked great on a 1971 CT-90. Modifications were required. I had to cut out some bolts to make the carburetor studs like the original, although bolts could have been used. The drain plug is too long, so use a hacksaw to shorten it. The bike idles great and accelerates, which I could never achieve even after a thorough cleaning and overhaul of the original carburettor. Happy 50th Birthday to lil Honda!

So far so good in parts

I couldn't get my 1970 K2 to idle no matter what I did to the factory carburetor. It's turned but still high with the OEM throttle cable. After replacing it with the cable that came with it, I was able to connect the bike straight away. Since then it has worked perfectly over the full throttle range. As others have said, I routed the fuel spill fitting to fit the bike. So far very satisfied. It looks like an OEM carburetor would also fit this carburetor.

What a wonderful surprise

You never know what to expect from a Chinese product but this one was really great. Rebuilt the factory carburetor twice and my 1970 CT90 only ran near full throttle. (and I can restore the quadrajet in my sleep). I put my faith in the Revain's most expensive carburetor when I saw that the only difference was the ride height adjustment and fuel intakes. All the reviews of every carb I looked at had overflow issues, so I expected that. I just cut the matching 1/4" with a Dremmel cutting wheel…

Perfect fit for my 74 ct90

I accidentally cracked open my original carburettor the day before the hike. I took a chance and ordered this carb at 6pm, it arrived the next day! Looks identical to the original Honda carburetor except the overflow hole is at the bottom. A cut of about 1/4 inch is perfect for my 1974 k4 ct90 (Trail 90). Installed like the original and opened with a slight pressure on the starter lever. To my surprise it purred great, I drove around the block and got the idle mixture up in just a tiny bit…

Not sure what to think of this carburetor

These carburetors are said to be made for a 1990's Honda CT. They didn't seem to understand the situation with the drain plug at the bottom of the carb, is it in the wrong position when they fix it?! And if you plan on screwing it right out of the box when you roll the dice, I think you have time to take it off and check the float level. I had three of these and each of them had a float level that was too high. And if you want to switch planes, good luck finding a real choice, especially a…
