I am an avid scrapbooker, card maker and hobbyist. American Standard is my choice of paper. The main quality characteristics are: 1- solid color throughout when torn or cut, the center of the core is the same color as the front or back 2- the fibers that make up the cleaner for paper cut with punching machines, punches , decorative scissors and much more.

The packaging it came in was completely intact but my order was NOT. The corner was pinched/kinked and the packaging was torn. And missing. Since the box was intact, my product must have been damaged before it came in the box. I'm really confused. I will never be able to use this as a full 12x12 base page for my album layouts. I bought this hoping it would match the single sheets I bought from JoAnn and it did. The corner of both boxes was slightly damaged, with each sheet being less than 0.25 inch thick. However, this did not affect my overall project as I used these sheets in my Cricut cutting machine and the damage was excessive. My project involves cutting, creasing and writing with gel pens. **Update** I have just received two more packs of this card set (a year later) and was very excited when I took the first pack out of the box. Immaculate condition. Pulled out the second one. As you can see in my 5th and 6th photos. The first 13 sheets are unusable. Where the company's actual packaging is cut away from the box to allow you to touch/feel the paper, the paper has been folded back to render these pages unusable when used in conjunction with the 12x12" project.
