📄 Recollections Kraft Cardstock Paper Value Pack, 8.5 x 11 inches Review

I bought this to make wedding invitations for my best friend. Her theme is burlap and lace. They give the invitations a burlap feel and are thick enough to look like good expensive invitations, not cheap homemade ones!

I ordered this paper for wedding invitations. I took it to my place of work to have the invites printed on this paper and was told that the paper is 1/8 inch off (corners are not 90 degrees) and each invite was printed crooked. so frustrated and now have to hand cut them to make them even.

Sorry, this board is uneven. I had to cut each piece individually to get even sides. I needed them for a project where it was important to have a right angle and each piece needed to be cut. I didn't have time to return or exchange the paper so I fixed it myself. I actually give it 3 stars because it's a good shade for "kraft paper" and because I used paper even though it wasn't cut well. It's $9 for a reason.

I like the price but it's more orange-brown than the kraft paper I usually buy (which I love) and although it's also £65 it's significantly thicker than my normal kraft paper. I can't even use it with my printer. it prints more than half a page and I can't figure out why (I always feed one sheet at a time). I tried my regular kraft paper and it printed great. I think this box is too thick. I will not buy it again as it is unfit for the purpose I bought it for.

This is a decent card color wise. There are a few little specks here and there that add interest, but not so many that they distract from the design you're creating. It's not the best card to print directly onto as it doesn't take the ink well, but that's not what I bought it for anyway. I'm used to using SU craft board and it's a lot thicker than this one. The price was a little high considering I only received 50 sheets, but I'm still very happy with the quality of the paper.
