I wanted to find a bamboo/wooden comb because I read it was good for my hair. I'll keep using this for now, but the comb teeth at the very end have broken. I haven't used the comb set in a very long time so it surprised me. It works well even if it happened.

The brush is fine but I threw away the comb because it shed splinters. It's polished but not sealed in any way, and it pierced my hair and split horribly. I would not recommend this product although the brush is ok.

I bought this set because I thought the bristle brush was also made of bamboo. The description says nothing, but the picture is not clear. I don't know why he has "plastic" bristles. Makes it useless for static control which was my main reason for buying it. I like the comb. This works very well. If it was a little longer it would be easier to hold. I have long hair and long combs work better.
