Good quality elastic cord

This elastic cord was available at a low price per foot + decent functionality = a steal. The only "issue" we had using it for our application was the outside fraying when trying to thread the freshly cut end through multiple grommets/loops. Wear can be minimized by 'burning off' the cut end first with a lighter flame - and for the low price we paid we knew we were not paying for a 'non-wearing' coil.

Pros
  • Diameter 7/16 inch
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Looks like a good product for what I need

Looks like a good product for what I need. I have some old bungee hooks that have fallen into disrepair so I had to make some custom sized hooks. Definitely cheaper than ready-made ones. Looks, feels and stretches like a regular bungee. The yellow one I have may not be heavy enough for anything other than lighter applications, but it's good enough for the old hooks I have. They will break before the bungee fails.

Pros
  • 100ft spool of heavy duty nylon elastic cord
Cons
  • Appearance

Heavy Duty Large Elastic Cord

I use this elastic cord to attach a boat bag. It's a lot heavier than the elastic cord I've used before and I'm sure it will last a lot longer than the previous cord which lasted about 4 years. The previous cable did not break. It came loose from the hooks I used to attach it to the boat trailer and in the process came loose in several places causing it to hit the ground which wore it out almost immediately. I'll buy something bigger (and more secure so even if one hook comes off the rest is…

Pros
  • Ideal for custom lengths or light attachments
Cons
  • Not sure
