The two stars are directly related to the different sizes of their shirts. Yes, the pants run small too, but they're all the same - every pair I order a size down is the same. Well I can only confirm what others have written. I bought this shirt in blue and would give it 5 stars! Great quality, perfect size for me and great color. So I decided to buy another one in black. Same size. Same seller. The same markings. But it's a COMPLETELY different fit. Overall, the shirt is a little tighter. Not a big deal, I just thought the other one was a bit big. I love these shirts but like everything I've ever ordered from Carhartt, the size is spot on. I have pants that I buy in the store on the same day, the same model, the same size, and they fit completely different pairs. These shirts are no exception to that rule. Some colors are at least a full size larger than others. The black 3XLT is close to the normal 3XLT or more of it hand in hand. So I believe the issues people are having with sizing complaints on this product are due to specific colors
