It looks good in the picture but when I saw it installed I sent it back and replaced it with a model that had two socket covers that are sold separately leave open, and not as one big bowl. Depending on the position on the floor, there is a risk of tripping.

In general I am satisfied with the purchase. Was a bit dissatisfied with trying to turn the access door screw that covers the electrical plugs. it was slightly out of position and quite difficult to turn to close cover. I finally managed to tighten it all the way, but I wouldn't want to do it very often. I don't use this outlet on the floor so it doesn't matter.

So when I was a kid I always noticed that in nice houses. I even thought people must be rich to have floor sockets :) When our house was built we installed floor socket. and I always thought they incorporated the plastic plug as a "plug" until the real brass came along. It soon turned out that the plastic was "standard" and that's what they wanted to put in there. So you can imagine that I always thought that we would eventually supply copper.
