Carrera 20574 Banked Curve Track Pieces Review

If you're a slot car enthusiast, you need these curves in your life! As a result of using this product, I found that my races were much more exciting and challenging. The banking effect adds a whole new level of fun to my setups. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to get the spacing just right. But once you do, these curves are a game-changer! Overall, I highly recommend them.

You can have enough of these to do all your turns and race muscle cars with them. But the way that step comes in and expects you to prepare it doesn't work. I ended up adding lots of 1/3 and full straight tracks between the 6 pieces that make up this curve and I got lucky and was able to shape them into my caterpillar shape. Do not buy. The wagons are longer than the track segments. Very few cars will complete this corner (short cars only). If it's a standard car (a Ford GT or even the Firebird that comes with the starter kit) they're all standard length, too long for those short corner sections. It's funny to see how cars have to fly into a sharp turn, turn around and accelerate. But that's not the case.
