I like the open headband concept, but this bag feels flimsy. Too big for my little one. The bag slopes unevenly due to the dog's weight (only 7 pounds). We can't balance. Also, it's not big enough to comfortably stick your head out. This totem might work well for a large dog, but I don't have a lot of faith in these harnesses.

I didn't like the fact that you couldn't close the bag and keep the dog inside. I also didn't like that the bag didn't have mesh windows. Gracie loves spending time. I was looking for a bag to keep it safe in. Because the top didn't close all the way, Gracie managed to pop out even when I tied her to the harness inside.

Great dog carrier, my terrier who weighs almost 20 pounds fits in easily - still roomy. Good size product. We have a 28 lb beagle and terrier mix with an alert. The reason I couldn't keep this product is because I have a compact car (Ford Focus) and the back seat isn't very big so the product doesn't stretch fully and that's why the sides were loose as it doesn't have support. If you can't stretch the piece properly, the sides are just fabric and it came right out. If you have a large rear seat this might work, but for someone with a smaller rear seat it was useless.

This worked great but I made adjustments. It attaches from one headrest to the next, but doesn't have an anchor to hold the underside. My dog is very restless and without a hammock secured between the backrest and seat, he will end up halfway up the seat. I added the anchor myself and now it doesn't move.
