My 17 month old son normally wears a 5 but Carter runs small so he wears a 6 with little room to grow. The design is very cute and he was so excited to wear them. He likes to take off his shoes and socks when driving in the car. Since I let him run outside I don't want him to play with his shoes. They're easy to put on and take off, so I take them off as soon as he buckles himself in.

Super cute! But the back of the boots cut into my tiny ankles. He could only wear them for a short time before I saw them starting to rub. When this first happened he was running so much and I didn't realize until we got home that his ankles were sore and bleeding. :( He had to switch to sandals for a month before he could wear shoes (not these) again. He only wore them 3-4 times before he was ready for the next size up. I wish we could wear them more, her are gorgeous but the ankle rub issue…

My son loves his 'shark shoes' - he loves them in fact. They fit well and feel light and comfortable. However, for some reason it has worn out three pairs, which makes me doubt its durability. Because? Sometimes he has to drag his feet a little while running, which scratches the front of the shoe. This wears down the rubber outsole very, very quickly on the front of the toes and then the fabric. The last pair lasted no more than a month. I've seen him run and not shuffle, so I don't know…
