But this is a present for my niece who works and studies. She loves them very much, she says they make it easier to pack their lunches day after day while they do the dishes themselves.

I just didn't have room for all my plastic containers so I thought I'd spend the money and just order the ones that fold easily for storage. They work great! You just have to be careful when putting the lids on as they fold up for easy storage so you can fold them up when putting the lids on if you don't remember how they work. The sizes in this pack are great for the price.

I liked it at first. We have an RV and I thought these folding shells would be perfect. Tie tops are decent. The collapsing feature is nice, but now I realize nesting bowls take up just as much space. My biggest concern was how badly they stained. Spaghetti stored for the first time and now they look dirty forever. Also, I don't think the tops are leak proof, they are leak proof.

Bowls don't last long. I kept leftover spaghetti in one and sauce in one. When I pulled them out of the fridge a few days later, the lids of the bowls and the food were black. The sauce turned yellow in a bowl and it doesn't clear up. All eyelids were black, I held them in the water with Don hoping to clean them. I just received the northern set and will not be using it. I will never buy anything like this again.

If, like me, you're used to putting a container on your countertop to secure the lid, don't do it with these. When pressed, the container lowers slightly. If there is liquid in it, it can simply flow out when pressed. Similarly, storing them in the fridge or freezer will also cause some destruction if you store them in a hard-to-reach place.
