Very uncomfortable: the bar under the legs presses on the hamstrings. It will probably be comfortable for a person with a very small stature, but at 6ft 3in it is painful to sit in.

It is light, very easy to open and fold. and it's convenient. When folded, it takes up very little space. Some reviewers say it's difficult to get up from, but it's designed as a low chair - perfect for performances and anywhere you don't want to sit, like in the office or at the dining table. If you have poor mobility or creaky joints, this chair may not be for you. For the rest of us, this thing is really good. Below we are closer to the beach.

After opening and using this chair for the second time, I noticed that my back was uncomfortable in the chair as my back was resting on the bottom bar. I investigated further and found that the elastic strap that attaches to the hood and holds the bar in place had broken and died. I can see that this chair doesn't hold up all that often if the elastic is completely snapped. Once it breaks you have to manually make sure the hood covers the rod before opening the chair.
