📦 Black Hard Shell Case for 2.5-Inch Portable Hard Drive by Case Logic EHDC-101 Review

It's good to know that some designs stand the test of time. I bought my first Seagate Backup Slim Plus 2TB in 2015 and chose this Case Logic case for its durability and slim fit. After 6 years I was looking for another case for another Seagate Backup 2TB and returned to Case Logic. Tried Revain Basics but it was really thick (1.5" instead of 1.2"). My only complaint?. small white production tag (hate them, had to cut them out!)

This case fits the Seagate hard drive I just received. The drive fits snugly and there is room for a cable. The reason I'm giving this case four stars instead of five is that the finish of the case is very abrasive and difficult to hold. I've thought about sending the suitcase back but I won't be traveling out of home that much so I won't be doing much with this suitcase. Also, based on other reviews, the hard drive model I purchased doesn't fit in many other cases. So I will keep this one.

The zipper seems to be pretty strong which I think is the most important thing. Then the shock resistance of the whole case seems excellent given the rigidity of the side panels and zipper. I like the mesh pocket and strap to hold the HD and cable. It's a great match for a 1TB WD Passport with little headroom. It adds a sense of security because if I decide to take it somewhere and drop it on the pavement, I figure the HD won't break and the case will take the hit. I love this product and have…

I love this case. I bought this for my Seagate Backup Plus 1TB (and 2TB) portable hard drive that I recently bought. I'm happy to report that this sleeve fits BOTH discs as the discs are so small and thin. If you fold the cables neatly, the fit works well, if a bit tight. I've been looking for something that will work with two portable thin drives and it works great! This size is ideal for travel or just when you need to drive somewhere. I bought this case to store a LaCie Porsche Design 5TB USB-C mobile hard drive, bought at the same time based on the details of this product, the size of the drive it will hold could and the dimensions listed for that disc. The disc fits, but is quite tight. The case is well thought out and appears to be well made. Both of the cables that come with this LaCie drive fit perfectly in the inside pocket of my bag.
