The perfect solution. I wanted an economical option that would allow me to take my audio gear out of my camera bag and into a separate bag. The price was right and the foam worked great. It's lightweight and closes securely. No complaints.

Retractable Foam This is the best part. The case itself is not very good. Weak with all the plastic loops and clasps. The styrofoam cover is not glued properly (not critical). I'd try and pull out the $17 Plano 4 pistol case and some of that foam (if you can find it). In addition, the stretch foam is not split from top to bottom. So use scissors to cut the depth.

This extra large and great value bag is the perfect bag to protect your belongings. That being said, there is no way I would TRAVEL with this case. The plastic seems strong enough to slide in and out of the car, but it definitely feels like it will break under too much pressure. So if you plan on doing extreme shots or flying on a plane and stowing it under the plane I would look for a more durable case.

I love this bag I might look like a poorly trained surgeon trying to figure out how to measure the depth of the foam but in the end I thought it would be better To do it, simply tear the case's foam in places to clean it and ask questions later. In this case I have a Nikon Coolpix P600, a Panasonic Lumix G7 mirrorless and my Rode mic, all of which fit nicely with a few extra slots for batteries and such. This bag is a little larger than I expected, but it should definitely hold up to a lot while protecting your expensive camera gear. My wife gave me a hard time buying something this big, but after investing in a good camera I wanted to make sure it was protected. I was able to pack the Nikon d5300 dual lens kit in the box along with the chargers and still have enough space left over so I think if we buy a telephoto lens or a macro lens I can fit them nicely in the box.

Purchased to carry a Yuneec Breeze drone and comes with 2 extra batteries, charger, game controller, spare parts and FPV goggles - everything you need. The case itself is a little wobbly, but not broken yet. Foam Pick-n-Pluck is a mixed bag. The foam is perforated vertically, but the whole piece goes top to bottom. I had to use a sharp knife to make horizontal cuts at just the right depth to support things and if you remove too much you have to use some kind of glue to glue the piece back on…

I am VERY impressed with this product! It's the perfect depth for my lenses and the foam is strong enough to hold the lenses securely while still being soft enough for diaper bumps.
