Just can't handle it

This is about the only brand that has a design size. In my group, however, they last less than a month. One only lasted 10 days. I got creative trying to sew and tie them together to make them durable. Just not strong enough

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not sure

My Go to Stable Supplies Feed Bag

This is the perfect size for my horses. They are used daily on my horses and have proven themselves well. A word of caution... I have a horse that likes to chew on its butt after eating all its feed so they are not "chew resistant" but are very durable and adaptable compared to others. Worth every penny.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some bugs

Draft size for a horse and horse size for a pony!

Great feeder, no more wasting grain and my horses took to it straight away. Be sure to order a pull size if you have a horse as "horse size" will only fit a pony or horse with a very small head and rubbing under the jaw. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Crumpled

After 2 weeks of use it already has a hole in the bottom

This feed bag has the perfect idea and setup and I really liked it for my older horse who loses a lot of feed. It saves waste and he can get all the groceries he needs. It's only been two weeks and already there's a hole at the bottom where it all comes together! Very disappointed and it really defeats its purpose if it doesn't stand up to daily use for even two weeks.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Problems

BAND IS NOT LONG ENOUGH AND NO METAL CLOSURE!

The strap is not long enough when set to its maximum length. I bought the draft size and it is very tight around the ears and forelock. It has a pulling force of 17.5 N. The clasp is not made of metal as shown in the photo, but of plastic. That wouldn't bother me if the strap could be adjusted a bit longer. The size of the snout corresponds to its size. The addon says it stretches, but that fails due to the hard strap attached to it. There are no stretch marks.

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Generally good, but...

No more wasting feed due to spills

This is the only site I have found where the bag is color coded by size which is not really necessary given the obvious size difference. I picked up a draft horse for my 35 year old visually impaired mare in the hope that it would double role as a 'bumper' as she pretends to graze while eating her grain. Works great! I'm also a normal size horse for a Morgan pony with dental issues causing leakage. suits him well When the head is lifted, the supply is exhausted - ALL - there are no more drops…

  • Delivery was very quick

Very useful, best in feeding and watering gear

I have a big WB kid who likes to spill his food all over the place - tried all types of buckets to no avail. It works out! I made two modifications: First, I sewed the chin guard flap tighter. This keeps food from slipping out from under their jaw when they throw their head back and it's not really big so I made the hole smaller. by the ears, and the cheek straps do not climb into his eyes. Perhaps none of these things would be an issue if I bought the Horse vs Draft size, but he does get a…
