Solid Watch! I decided to get away from smartwatches and wanted to add something new to my old collection. I chose this G Shock and I am definitely happy with it. The only downside is that sometimes you have to find the perfect angle to be able to read the dial, but after a while you can turn your wrist to the right angle without bothering.

I love G-Shocks and this one is no exception. The only issue I have is that the warranty only covers Europe. And since I'm in North America, I basically can't get a two-year warranty (based on what the warranty docs said when I tried to register the product). However, I see no need for those two years as I'm sure the watch will last much longer.

Great watch with great aesthetic for a minimalist like me. The only improvement I would make is the brightness. The lack of brightness + legibility is particularly noticeable when placed alongside other G-Shocks of equal or even LESS value. I also want the light to stay on for more than two seconds. Those two remarks aside, the watch is virtually bulletproof and a reliable digital watch.

I have recently started building my watch collection and am focusing on fashion watches, wanted something casual and came across a transparent G-Shock which caught my attention but when I saw this 'black' version , I fell in love the instant way, I got it a few weeks ago and it's been on my wrist ever since, I hardly notice it and it looks amazing. This watch meets all my needs, looks good and is extremely durable. I've worn Casio G-Shock watches since the 80's and have never had a problem with either one and this one (DW5600BB) is no different so far. Some reviews say the screen is hard to see in certain lighting conditions, but I believe that's only true in low light, and that needs light, right? Overall I'm perfectly happy with the DW5600BB and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, good looking base watch.
