These wheels are really heavy! Everything about them - from metal brackets to bearings - is built to last. The wheels spin and spin effortlessly and the brake works like magic. I am building a shop bench using some 4x4s and an old solid core door panel. He will likely weigh over 200 pounds and these reels will handle him with ease.

This is a really nice set of castors with lots of brackets for every purpose. They will be packed in a strong and heavy box upon arrival. I took each piece out of the plastic bag it came in before taking the picture. (Except for the mounts, because we won't make you laugh.) The wheels spin and spin easily. The weakest point seems to be the thinner brake metal. The brake engages and disengages easily and stops both rotation and pivoting for a complete cessation of action. Pretty impressive.

I have a very heavy solid wood bench that I use as an entertainment center that I had to move to a truck. I noticed that the legs are compatible with the wheel set and gave them a try. The box was surprisingly heavy. These are strong, thick casters and come with enough wood or mechanical fasteners for most applications. I simply used washers and screws and screwed them directly into the wooden base of my bench. The wheels rolled beautifully over tile, carpet (with a little more effort) and over
