Definitely liquid soap, not thick or sticky like other Castille soaps with added ingredients. Perfect for the hair of everyone in my family, from a 60 year old white woman to a 50 year old Hispanic woman to a 21 year old mixed race Puerto Rican woman. Ideal for hand washing, dishwashing and laundry soap. It doesn't smell much, which is good, but leaves you with silky hair and clean clothes, free of the residue of most detergents, soaps and shampoos. Easily washable!

I use this for two foam soap dispensers. Since it contains no sodium laureth sulfate, foaming is reduced. We'd be happy to trade that for better health! When mixing soap with water, I recommend using a lot less water depending on your preference. I use about 1/4 water. Tips: Get in the habit of wiping the tip with your finger when you take your hand away and the spout will be cleaner. Also, I put painter's tape on the loading hole to keep it dry.

I have been making my own foaming soap for many years, this is by far the easiest soap to make (especially organic Castilian soap). It bothered me at first that it was watery and not that concentrated, but that's your number one enemy in making foaming hand soap -- getting soap and water for a good lather. This is a really good soap! I love the smell of citrus and can't wait to try eucalyptus
