👞 Timeless Distressed Leather Shoe - Casual Classic 7 998 Size Review

I was looking for a black leather belt. I thought that was what I ordered, but no, it's just a weird artificial "skin". After 2 weeks the black paint peels off.

I was very happy with this belt. The quality and feel of the leather is excellent. This is a belt that will last. Unfortunately the brown was a lot lighter than I expected so I sent it back and got a different style from the same manufacturer. Color mixing is just one symptom of the difficulties in calibrating cameras, photo software and phone screens. It does happen but that doesn't take away from this fantastic product which is every bit as good as the straps I paid over $200 for.

Product is listed as full grain leather. The product I received is not marked as full grain leather. It doesn't look like full grain leather. It doesn't look like full grain leather. It doesn't smell like real leather. It says "Made in the USA from US cowhide." This is broad enough to include products made from pressed and glued leather scraps, which is a common practice.

In my photos you can see the product I received on the left and a genuine leather belt on the right. You can see the difference. I have used many belts like this product, they start falling apart in no time.

Full Grain Classic Leather Belt Brown 1.5" Wide Shipped and received quickly but the quality of the product was totally unsatisfactory. The belt I received is not made of full grain leather but some kind of by-product of the leather. It looks like plastic and has a chemical smell suggesting it's made from treated (glued?) pieces of leather glued together. I'm returning for a refund.

When it arrived I just started wearing it without looking closely until I was asked to check it out. This is a strong belt, I would say, a cut above the norm. Slightly wider and thicker than my Dickies work belts. Correctly cut and well sewn. Heavy duty buckle with pulley. Looks very good. Even the color is right. It's a true brown, not so dark that I can't tell it apart from black. I'm not a fashionista, but I wear a black or brown belt depending on my choice of dress.

It's a mess trying to find a truly durable one-piece leather belt. This. It also has the right flexibility. More flexible, it stretches. Less flexible, I would feel uncomfortable. Finally there is a belt that feels and is built to last.
