I bought this in white for my master bathroom. It fits perfectly in the corner and is quite easy to assemble. It feels very sturdy and has brackets that allow you to attach the stand to the wall to keep it from tipping over.

Don't let the 4 stars discourage you - it deserves way better reviews. Easy to assemble and matches Ikea's "black-brown" color (that's the shade of our table). A tip - be careful when lifting and make sure you lift the unit from below - the upper unit is not connected to the lower unit but is pressed against it from above. I think this product is worth the price and looks way more expensive than it is.

I really like this bookshelf - it looks really nice when assembled. However, I'm giving it 4 stars for one reason. My problem with this shelf is that the top half doesn't match the bottom half perfectly. You will receive 2 brackets and screws holding the 2 assembled halves together but that's about it. It is durable and looks very nice. It has 5 shelves but the top shelf is so small that only a tiny succulent plant can be placed on it. The second shelf was big enough for a 4x6 framed photo. I had the same wood cracking problem just starting to screw the screws in by hand. Which is annoying, but I might reconsider. But what I don't understand is why the tree isn't aligned properly. There is a noticeable gap. And it's odd that the top and bottom are barely connected to a panel by two tiny screws. This stand is of very poor quality, the bottom shelf broke when I carefully turned the hex during assembly. The wood is very cheap, thin and very soft. The finish is almost wet (fresh finish) and smells like it was ever used to finish wood. My Allen key (included) was missing and there really should be two more brackets to assemble the top and bottom pieces. Wooden dowels don't fit tightly in the holes because they're overdrilled.
