Although our dog enjoyed sleeping on this mat, the foam started to break down and the foam/cover grew into hair. Rough. Unfortunately I will throw this one away and have to buy a new rug somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend it.

Much more than I anticipated, my dog needed a new bed and I wanted something he could be comfortable on. Of course I bought her this king size bed and she steals the smaller bed from my other dogs in the middle of the night. It would be big enough for a Great Dane to sleep and be comfortable on.

Love it and big enough for my German Shepherd and Husky to share. It's very soft and comfortable. Works great as an ortho mat. I needed it because my German Shepherd was having growth issues and wanted to sleep or lie down comfortably. Update: the bed survived our two big boys (husky and german shepherd), they also survived foster care. There are no rips and it looks almost new apart from major foot traffic stains as half is cream. The foam lasts almost a year without any problems.

I was a bit confused about the whole environmental aspects of this bed as my dog is likely to release a lot of methane into the environment while sleeping on the bed. However, I look forward to washing the cover when it does get dirty and I found the fleece to vacuum fairly easily, allowing me to remove clumps of grass and dirt with ease.
