Cat5E Ethernet Keystone Punch Down Network Industrial Electrical Review

I bought 5 of these kits. The detail everyone cares about: the color coding is very helpful as I don't slam as often as I used to. This product was easy to work with. I think I've used all but one and had no problems. Highly recommend, especially for beginners or people like me who have done something like this before but haven't done it in a long time. Super easy to punch; fits perfectly in my empty keystone rack. Definitely recommend!

I used a hammerless driver and had no problems with it. The angled lugs made them easier and quicker to install than a traditional angled connector. I had a small job - only 6 sockets, but all 6 worked fine the first time. I've had some connectors that snap back into the keystone plate when the cable is plugged in, although it was incredibly difficult to get into the keystone plate during installation. It was the opposite of that - I've paired them with Leviton plates and they snap easily, but…

They fit perfectly into my home network; I have used them in both wall panels and patch panels. All connections work great. This product sticks firmly to the wall panels and is difficult to remove if you touch the wiring (like I once did) and at the same time it dangles a bit in the patch panel. I'm not sure which of the three is out of spec, but at least everything stays in place once installed - what more could you ask for? Star docking only because I have mixed feelings about corner…
