NOT FOR BIG CATS in Cats

I was looking for "scratching posts for big cats" and decided on wood as the material. This thing isn't big enough for a big cat. My cat has a hard time sitting on the top perch, forget lying down. Every little movement of my cat makes the tree sway. He doesn't like it and won't use it. And it's made of cardboard and chipboard. Big waste of money for me.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Good but not great

Good buy, good for scratching posts and condos

My cats love it. Cons, if any, due to its height, it has to be pressed against the wall (I have a heavy cat and if it jumps off it will knock it over unless there's something nearby to steady it. It was easy to assemble but took some time and careful reading of the instructions the price is fair for comparable items we are satisfied with it and the cats enjoy it

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some imperfections

NOT for kittens over 6 months!

Definitely for very small kittens. This tree will be useless in about 5-6 months. The wall of the closet has detached from one of my kittens sleeping there and is pressing on it. You can see my other 6 month old kitten obviously doesn't fit on the (or any) perch. Neither does any of them scratch the "paper” scratching post. So annoying that I now have to look around for a new one.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Transparent

Stunning tall scratching post

Cats love it. They are constantly on it and love playing with their toys on it. A great scratching post for the price. I like that it is very large for kittens but takes up little space. I will say my kittens had a bit of a learning curve. It was possible to understand how to reach the highest level in a few days. The other took weeks, but both loved him from day one.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

Difficult to climb - Action Trees

I have a tall tree because my cat likes to climb. Unfortunately, the news is too far away and she can't even walk upstairs. And the shelves are too similar in size, and she has a hard time going down. I'll keep looking for one that has better tiered levels and a continuous path to the top. You can also work to change this. It's solid and I found a spot where it can climb all the way to the top, so it's not a total loss. The assembly wasn't difficult either.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

GREAT scratching post for a medium sized cat!

I would have given five stars but I didn't realize our biggest cat was too big for him. But that's a problem when looking for pet furniture: sizes can sometimes be an estimate, depending on whether your pet likes to lie down or not. Our other two cats are a bit smaller and love the tree. It has lots of attractive scratching areas and a decent perch. VERY well built and very easy to assemble (just make sure you tighten the screws well, which goes for everything). Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good quality, easy to assemble cat tower

Excellent cat tower, easy to assemble. I would give this project a 2 out of 5 for building difficulty. Less than an hour of build helps having a second pair of arms depending on the tower size you get, we had a 73 inch tower. All the tools needed for assembly come with the tower, but it's also helpful to have your own tools. Standing alone, depending on the size of your furry child, may be a little wobbly, luckily we have a nice corner for extra stability. the missing piece Our two cats agree.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Not easy for cats to climb, waste of money

This is the first scratching post (of many) that my cat doesn't like. does not climb and does not even scratch. The platforms are small and there is not enough space and they are not stable enough for my cat to climb on. She won't scratch it or sleep on it because the design doesn't give her enough space on each level to climb up and feel safe. I'll see if I can return it because almost $100 is a waste of money. Do not buy this if your cat is over 5 pounds or just skip it altogether. I waited a

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • It's ok

Cat won't scratch

I got this new scratching post because my cat went through the scratches on her old scratching post. Assembly wasn't exactly difficult, but it was a little awkward lining up all the pieces and twisting them together. This is because you are building it from the top down and eventually everything is assembled but you have to screw everything to the base plate. It was very difficult for me to do this and I think it would be difficult for any person to do it alone. I ended up disassembling it and…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
