Not enough for other sports

Only enough for 5 rides. I make sure my girls are comfortable and we only used their boots 5 times with these inserts before they broke. Definitely not worth buying.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are nuances

Very thin and punctured for the first time

Horse punctured with a slightly broken hoof on this first ride. I thought they were better considering it's a Cavallo brand. Save money and use Cavallo boots straight out of the box.

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

They get the job done

I had a pair of Cavallo ELB boots that were a bit loose so I bought a pair of these lasts (they come in PAR) and voila! Problem solved. Boots "dressed". Great. They're hard plastic so they don't warp like other pads (I bought a couple of Easyboot pads and no they broke so easily). It's worth it. And it's easy to cut. It is enough to have sharp scissors.

Pros
  • Sole, shank and frog stimulation
Cons
  • Some bugs

They provide extra cushioning when the horse needs it.

I bought these because my horse had sensitive front hooves after trimming. I put them on her boots from another brand and they worked great. Someone noticed that they are made of hard rubber. Of course, because otherwise my 1000-pound horse would have crushed them. They still provided her with the pillow she needed to make her aching legs feel better.

Pros
  • Improved shock absorption
Cons
  • Not bad but...

big difference

I bought these from the manufacturer when I was shopping for athletic shoes but I want to share my experience here. I wasn't sure if the pads were of any use - they were so thin. I tried taking them out of my boots a few days ago and it was like my horse was completely barefoot. As soon as I put the bandages back on, he took a few hesitant steps, then relaxed and walked out freely again. They work. Unfortunately, and perhaps because the pads are meant to be cut with scissors, they wear out. Due

Pros
  • Extra comfort for chronic pain or hoof sensitivity
Cons
  • Expensive
