Device works very well, but you have to jiggle RCA cables around to get the output. Once installed, it works until it malfunctions. For the money, it's worth tinkering with every once in a while. (Eventually I'll open it up and re-solder the bad connections.)

Product worked as advertised for a few months then not work more at all. I've tried swapping out the power supply, swapping out the mini USB cable, using a different AV source, and using a different HDMI. Nothing worked. I was led to believe that this cheap device just wasn't built to last.

I really needed this for my new TV which only has HDMI and digital component video (Red, Blue and Green) versus analogue (Red, White and yellow). I used it for my GameCube and it's great! There are no problems at the moment. THIS APPLIES TO ANALOG INPUT ONLY. I use it like this: the GameCube is an input, which then goes through this device, an HDMI output, and then that input goes to the TV with another input.
