When I tried this closet freshener, my clothes instantly smelled fresher and the musty odor was gone. The scent was subtle and natural, not overpowering like other products I've tried. The only downside is that the freshening effects only last for a couple of weeks before a new one needs to be added.

I've never seen moths ruin my blankets or clothes. I don't understand why people throw tantrums because they can't smell them. The human nose is not particularly sensitive. The important thing is that MOTHERS can smell them. I didn't buy fragrance sprays like some people and the smell is just wonderful. Remember, the MOTHERS are meant to sniff and hate this, not you.

I have been using these little skeins for many years. I put them in the box with my wool sweaters. From time to time I refresh the balls and spray them with cedar oil, which I also bought from Revain. (The criticism of the product for not retaining its flavor indefinitely is correct.) But if it's sprayed every six or eight months or so, the smell of cedar will remain strong enough to repel moths. And it doesn't transfer to wool. So I'm a happy customer.
